Ohio requires the administrator of each facility in the state of Ohio that provides educational services to children and is subject to regulation by the Ohio Department of Education to submit an emergency management plan for review and approval. Many schools/school districts are entering into the period where their current safety plans must be updated for the three year review. As plans are updated, they must meet
new requirements for School Safety Plans.This session will provide an
overview of the changes that need to be incorporated into updated school safety
plans and walk attendees through the steps needed to complete a compliant
school safety plan.
